Gorilla of My Dreams

Q: I do not have a particular dream to be analyzed, but rather a recurring theme. The dreams are slightly different, but the main theme remains the same. The dreams always center on me trying to find a ladies room with a stall that I can use. I always find the restroom, but go from stall to stall. It is either that there is someone in them, they are out of order, or unusable for some reason. In the last dream I had, food was in a couple of toilets I checked. Sometimes. I will find one that can be used, but the stall has no door. In each dream, I always finally find one I can use at the end. And after using it, I always wake up. While searching, I never feel frantic, but need to find a toilet.

Kathy, Toms River A: Your constant search for the unoccupied toilet is a sure sign of elimination and purging. Re leasing toxins out of your system is an issue you must deal with. They could be toxic people, job or life's traumas. Communication is a problem for you. The flip side of my dream analysis (which I do psychically) is you might be choosing the wrong people on which to dump your problems. You go from person to person, but there's always something missing in their nurturing skills. They are, in your words, ""out of order,'' ""unusable,'' ""no door'' or ""someone in them.'' This indicates unavailability. Interesting that you never feel frantic, always knowing you'll find someone you can use by the end. Be careful with whom you place your trust. Learn to trust your own judgment and intuition. Once accomplished, your unending search for just the right stall will end. Q: I have recurrent dreams about gorillas. The first one appeared as a big brown head in a calm lake off in the distance as I was sitting on large, shiny, open porch on the water. It rose up and started toward me. I was terrified and it chased me to my childhood home. In the next dream, the gorilla was in a forest. It was huge and beautiful and golden in color with a wreath of flowers around its head. I was in awe of it, until I realized there was only a very small fence between it and me. I ran. The next one, I was in a cemetery and all of the grave stones were concrete gorillas. As I walked passed them, I saw one moving, lying face down, as if it were swimming on the grave.

Anonymous A: The ape family is a sure sign of mischief, false promises and malice. You are an innocent, never thinking in a twisted, mean-spirited way.
