Snake represents deceit; friends not who they seem
Q: I had a bad dream about a cobra snake. It was coiled around me, trying to bite me, but I fought it off. There were several women friends … who seemed to be friends in the dream … and they were having lunch.
D.V., Rumson A: Wow, with friends like these who needs enemies. Dreaming of a snake is not good. Snakes represent deceit and lying. As for the women attending, several means two, as in two-timing and two-faced. It seems that the cobra was trying to have you for lunch! These so-called friends did nothing to help you. Did they come to your aid? No, they watched as you were being suffocated. They obviously found the chocolate mousse to be more interesting. Unconsciously you know they are not your buddies. As you expressed so clearly, "they seemed to be friends.'' Dreams don't lie. But snakes representing false friends do. You are in touch with your feelings. My suggestion? Get new friends. Then you can bid a fond adieu to anymore snake scenarios. Q: In my dream, I am with a guy I met five years ago when he was in the military. I was in a bad relationship and he was there for me and I fell in love. Because of an illness in my family, I had to leave him and by the time I returned, he was shipped out. I found out later that he had gotten married. I miss him so much. I always dream that I find him and we are together, either hugging, kissing or making love to each other. I wake up happy, but sad that he's not here.
